Too Bogged To Blog!

I was kind of half way joking about life getting in the way on my last post. I must have tempted fate though because this is the first opportunity I have had to blog since the 6th! Yikes!

I have been busy updating the website and working on the newsletter that is due out tomorrow. I have added additional navigation to the site, including a site map. I also have a new home page but I am not sure how it is going to work out for those of you on dial up. If you happen to check it out and have any trouble with it loading, please let me know! It is not my intention to cause problems for our dial up friends :} You are welcome to email me direct, or simply respond to this post!

Our sale begins tomorrow, too. We will have all of our flip flops on sale through July 10th! Check them out if you get a chance.

Life Gets In the Way

I thought that I would have our newsletter ready to send out today, but it didn't happen! Sometimes life has a way of getting in the way! No matter how many to do lists I make each day it seems that something is always left unfinished...such is life when you work from home:}

On the plus side, thank you to my long time customer and sweet friend, Susie for sharing her little girl, Lily with us today!

Lily Just turned 2! She enjoys drawing, scooting around on her ride-ons and keeping up with her 4 year old brother. Not a day goes by that she doesn't have a bow or 2 in her hair. Even her Daddy will put one in if her mommy is out of town!
Lily is wearing our Alison style bow. I usually describe that one for 3 and up but seeing it on Lily makes me wonder if I don't need to rethink that!

P.S. Tricia, when you see this Susie is expecting a phone call :}

Sunshine...At Last!

Well, thank goodness we finally had some sunshine around here today! After a solid week of nothing but gloom and doom maybe I can get motivated again. Have you ever noticed how hard it is to be productive when it is dark and icky outside. I have wanted to crawl in bed with a good book all week but I have resisted the temptation!
Can I just tell you...it was HARD not to do it!

Elizabeth is sporting our 3 inch Kennedy Bow in the picture below. She is 3.5 years old in this picture so that will give you a little bit of an idea about how the smaller bows look on our big girls :}
Please be sure and visit Elizabeth's mom on ebay! Her ebay seller id is: bargainsgalore**

Thank you Carrie for sharing your sweet little girl with us!

Move Over Betsy Ross !

Betsy Ross didn't have anything on Allie of Allies*Art*Designs! She did a wonderful job of creating the sweet Patriotic dress that her daughter is wearing below.
Please click on her ad under our sponsors to learn all about Allie's creations!

Kayla is one of our models for the website. She is 5 years old and loves hamming it up for the camera! The hair bow that she is wearing is our "Kayla" bow :}

My Inspiration

This whole business started shortly after Miss Katie made her entrance into the world as a 28 1/2 week preemie. In fact, tomorrow will be exactly 7 years since she came home from her 3 month stay in the NICU . Incidently, it is also my birthday. I won't tell you how old I am :}
Katie is the reason behind everything that I do...she is truly my inspiration and I am tickled pink to include her picture as the first one on our weblog! Don't worry, she rarely ever lets me put bows in her hair anymore so I won't be hogging all of the space! LOL

Introduction

Each month we receive tons of photos and we have been trying to come up with a way to share them all on the website. The best solution that we have been able to come up with is to start blogging! We think this will be a great way for us to share more of the pictures that we have in our files.
We recognize that it is sometimes difficult to buy bows over the internet and it truly does help to see the different styles and sizes that we carry being worn by children of all ages. We are grateful to each of you for the photos that you share and we hope that you will continue to send them our way! It is always fun to get new pictures and to watch as your child literally grows up with our bows! It is just too cool ! It makes my job worthwhile :}
If you have any questions or would like to submit a picture or two please email us at customerservice@pictureperfecthairbows.com. Please include your childs first name, age and her favorite activity or a funny story and any additional information you want us to include. Does mommy have a website? An ebay store ? Tell us all about it! We would be happy to give your business a plug! Is your little one wearing an outfit that was designed by another seller ? Include that info, too! As mommies in business, we have to stick together and support each other :}
We look forward to hearing from you!
